MS Exercise Physiology and Nutrition
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN)
NSCA - CSCS
NASM - CPT

In nearly 20 years as a registered dietitian nutritionist and personal trainer with a focus on optimizing sports performance, I have been fortunate to work with a diverse group of clients ranging from youth and professional athletes to post-partum moms, and weekend warriors. I have also worked as an exercise physiologist and dietitian in the Sports Performance Center at the top-ranked Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC, and as the dietitian at TB12, where I revamped the company’s nutrition philosophy to be more evidence based.

As a former Division 1 soccer player, I know firsthand the payoffs of consistent hard work. I also know that peak performance and a healthy lifestyle require a balanced approach to exercise, nutrition, sleep, and stress management. That’s the balance I seek to achieve with my clients.

I completed my master’s degree in exercise physiology and nutrition from Teachers College, Columbia University, graduating magna cum laude. I am a board-certified Registered Dietitian, a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. I’m also in my 40s, so I regularly counsel my clients—and myself—on how exercise and nutrition impact hormonal changes, bone health, and muscle mass as we age.

I know I’m in the right business when I see my clients celebrate accomplishing something they once deemed impossible. It’s a feeling I’m familiar with: As a soccer player at Boston University, I suffered bilateral ACL's tears followed by compartment syndrome. It took me months to regain my strength and mobility; but, after a long rehabilitation, I was able to get back on the field and a year later ran my first marathon. Whether I’m competing in a race, snowboarding with friends (I’m really bad), hiking in NH with my family, or playing with the kiddos in my life, my goal hasn’t changed– I want to keep doing the things I love for as long as I can. And I want my clients to be able to do the same thing.
